It took me awhile to get on board with using dried lavender in some of my favorite recipes. It seems like it’s only been in the past several years or so that it’s been popular to use lavender in cooking, but it appears to be here to stay. I’ve tried a lot of different recipes with lavender in them, and here are some of my favorites!

Lavender Lemonade
I think that lavender lemonade was the first recipe I tried tasting that was lavender flavored. Lavender is an acquired taste, I think, but I have really now grown to like it. I really enjoy freshly made lavender lemonade!

This lavender tea bread recipe is just to die for! You really will have to give it a try. It’s really easy to make, and the icing gives it just a little bit of added sweetness. I really love this recipe and will definitely be making it again.
Blackberry Lavender Kombucha
I love picking wild blackberries every summer. Besides freezing them for winter, I have tried a lot of different recipes to use up all of the blackberries, and I stumbled on this one for blackberry lavender kombucha. Blackberry and lavender go together very well for this kombucha recipe.
Lavender Iced Tea
Have you ever tried lavender iced tea? I wasn’t sure what I was going to think about it, but I do really like it. It gives the tea just enough flavor to be something different, and not the same old iced tea. It’s really good!
Blueberry Lavender Jam
I’ve made a lot of different jams over the years, but I was really happy with how this blueberry lavender jam turned out. Some jams sound better than they actually taste, but this jam was not disappointing. I really love the combination of blueberry and lavender together.
