I am excited to share with you a new homemade floor cleaner I have been using. What’s great about this cleaner is that I already had everything I needed to make it. It is very similar to the miracle tub and shower cleaner I regularly use.

In case you’ve never used washing soda before, it is a form of baking soda used for cleaning. It is commonly used for making homemade laundry detergent.
You can find it in the laundry section at some stores or order it (with free Prime shipping!) from Amazon. It is very inexpensive, and it has many household uses.
This cleaning solution is great because it uses all natural ingredients and no harsh chemicals. However, when you mix it up, do be aware that vinegar and washing soda will have a similar reaction as vinegar and baking soda (ever made a homemade volcano!?).
Use a funnel to place the washing soda, vinegar, and dish soap in a one gallon container. I used an empty gallon container that once contained orange juice. Next slowly pour the water in the container so that the washing soda and vinegar don’t come shooting out the top of your bottle.
If you need to use the whole gallon of cleaning solution to mop your floor, you can just combine all of the ingredients in a bucket instead.
Use as you would store-bought floor cleaning solutions. This cleaner is recommended for tile and laminate floors. It is especially designed to cut through tough grease.
