Combine all of the ingredients and store in a mason jar or in a ziploc bag. These ingredients are enough to replace one Shake and Bake mix or enough to prepare one dinner of 4-5 pork chops or medium sized pieces of chicken.
When you are ready to prepare the meal, mix 3 tbsp. vegetable oil into the dry mix. Dip pork chops or chicken pieces in water and then dip into mix. Placed in greased pan and bake at 400 degrees for 30-40 minutes until meat is cooked through.
Give this recipe a try and see if you don’t think this is as good or as better as the store bought Shake and Bake mix.
