I recently stumbled across this recipe for guacamole seasoning mix, and thought it was definitely worth giving a try. My son and I love homemade guacamole, and those little seasoning packets you buy at the store are so expensive.

This mix is so much more inexpensive, and tastes at least as good, if not better than the store bought.
Guacamole Seasoning Mix Recipe
Ingredients:
2 teaspoons dried cilantro
1 teaspoon dried onion flakes
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon dried chili pepper flakes
1/4 teaspoon pepper
I have never tried dried cilantro before, but it is really good. This mix smells really good when it’s all mixed up! This recipe makes enough for one recipe of guacamole.
If you want to make up more than one recipe at a time, just multiply the ingredients by however many batches you want to make. When you prepare the guacamole, just add 1 tbsp. of the spice mixture to the mashed avocados.
To prepare guacamole, mash two ripe avocados with a fork. Add the above ingredients and 1 tbsp. of lemon juice or lime juice. Serve immediately and refrigerate any leftovers.
If you are making extra spice mix, store in a mason jar or other airtight container.
