Chocolate and peanut butter is one of those combinations I never get tired of.

This smoothie tastes almost like a chocolate peanut butter milkshake, but it’s filling enough to make a great breakfast or post-workout snack.

I’ve been making more protein smoothies lately, and this is definitely one of my favorites.

I add protein powder, collagen peptides, and creatine to mine, which makes it an easy way to add a little more protein and nutrition to my day without making breakfast complicated.

Rich, creamy, and loaded with chocolate and peanut butter flavor! This easy high protein drink combines protein powder, collagen, and creatine for a filling high protein breakfast that's ready in minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup milk of your choice
  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
  • 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 scoop collagen peptides
  • 3–5 grams creatine monohydrate
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup ice
  • 1–2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup, optional

How to Make It

Add all of the ingredients to a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.

If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more milk. If you’d like a stronger peanut butter flavor, add another spoonful of peanut butter.

Pour into a glass and enjoy right away.

Make It Even Better

I like using a frozen banana because it gives the smoothie that thick, creamy texture without needing a lot of ice. You can also add a few ice cubes if you like your smoothies extra cold.

For an even more chocolatey smoothie, add a little extra cocoa powder. And if you’re a serious peanut butter fan, drizzle a little peanut butter over the top before serving.

This is one of those breakfasts that takes just a few minutes to make but keeps me satisfied much longer than a plain smoothie. It’s also an easy one to customize depending on what you have in the kitchen.
