I have been working on losing weight for the past year or so, and I have been looking for recipes to help me lose weight and eat healthy too. I have always been a big fan of smoothies, but I never knew until recently that smoothie bowls are a thing!

A smoothie bowl is basically a smoothie, but thicker. You eat it with a spoon. This smoothie bowl has the consistency of ice cream. It is basically homemade ice cream, made in your blender. It is really amazing, and healthy too. Even my teenage boys love them.
Smoothie Bowl Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 cups frozen fruit
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 2 tablespoons honey
You can use any kind of frozen fruit for your smoothie bowl. I used blackberries and peaches. Bananas are also a great thing to add.
Place the frozen fruit in your blender and add the almond milk and honey. You can use sugar in the place of the honey.
Blend. You will need to stir it several times to get the fruit and almond milk to blend. Add more almond milk if necessary to get the consistency of ice cream.
Place in serving bowl(s). Garnish with flaked coconut, sliced fruit, granola, and/or nuts.
