If you’re looking for an easy way to make fresh wellness shots at home, these carrot ginger shots are a great place to start!
Fresh carrots bring a natural sweetness, ginger adds a little spicy kick, and lemon brightens everything up. A small orange makes this juice even sweeter and balances the flavor.

I also made a ginger turmeric wellness shot with fresh ginger, turmeric root, lemon, and black pepper. If you enjoy the warming flavor of ginger, you’ll want to try that recipe, too!

Ingredients
- 2 medium carrots
- 1-inch piece fresh ginger root
- 1 small orange, peeled
- ½ lemon, peeled
How to Make Carrot Ginger Wellness Shots
Wash the carrots and ginger thoroughly. Peel the orange and lemon, removing as much of the white pith as practical.

Tips for Making Fresh Carrot Ginger Shots
Adjust the ginger. Ginger has a strong, spicy flavor. Start with a smaller piece if you prefer a milder juice, or add a little more if you love that extra kick.
Make it sweeter. The orange helps balance the ginger, but you can adjust the amount to suit your taste.
Drink it fresh. For the best flavor, enjoy your shot soon after juicing. If you make it ahead, refrigerate it promptly in a clean, airtight container and use it soon.
