Tips for Making a Christmas Espresso Martini

Use freshly brewed espresso. Fresh espresso gives the cocktail its rich coffee flavor and helps create the signature foam. Let it cool slightly before shaking.

Chill your glass. Place your martini glass in the freezer for a few minutes before serving to help keep the drink cold.

Adjust the sweetness. Vanilla syrup adds a festive touch, but you can use less or leave it out if you prefer a stronger coffee flavor.

Make it extra festive. Add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg, or garnish with a little grated chocolate.

Shake well. A vigorous shake with plenty of ice helps create the creamy foam espresso martinis are known for.
