Looking for an easy Halloween treat that the kids can help make? These Halloween Spiderweb Pretzels are simple, festive, and only require a few ingredients.
They’re perfect for a Halloween party, school party, or just a fun afternoon Halloween activity with the kids.
What You Need
- Pretzel sticks
- Chocolate melting wafers or chocolate chips
- White melting wafers or white chocolate
- Candy eyes
- Parchment paper or wax paper
You can use both chocolate and white chocolate to make different colored spiderwebs.
How to Make Spiderweb Pretzels
1. Arrange the pretzels
Place a sheet of parchment or wax paper on a baking sheet or countertop.
Arrange several pretzel sticks in a circular pattern, overlapping them in the center. You want the pretzels to look a little like the spokes of a wheel.

Don’t worry about making them perfect. Once the chocolate is added, they’ll look like spiderwebs!
2. Melt the chocolate
Melt your chocolate or candy melts according to the package directions.
Transfer the melted chocolate to a piping bag, decorating bag, or a small zip-top bag with the corner snipped off.
3. Create the spiderweb
Starting near the center of the pretzels, pipe circles around the center, working your way outward.
Leave a little space between each circle so the pretzels still show through.
You can make the webs with milk or dark chocolate, white chocolate, or both for a fun variety.
4. Add the spider
While the chocolate is still soft, place a couple of candy eyes in the center of the web to make a little spider.
You can also use melted chocolate to pipe tiny legs around the eyes.
5. Let them set
Allow the chocolate to cool and harden completely. You can place the tray in the refrigerator for a few minutes to speed things up.
Once the chocolate is firm, carefully peel the spiderweb pretzels from the parchment paper.
These are one of those Halloween treats that don’t have to look perfect. In fact, the slightly wonky webs make them even cuter!
Let the kids arrange the pretzels and decorate their own spiderwebs. Just be sure to supervise younger children around the melted chocolate.
These spiderweb pretzels would make a fun addition to a Halloween dessert table, classroom party, or Halloween movie night.
