DIY Rose Vanilla Body Oil Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sweet almond oil
  • 1/4 cup jojoba oil
  • 2 tablespoons dried rose petals
  • 1 vanilla bean, split (or 1 teaspoon vanilla-infused oil)
  • 8-10 drops rose essential oil (optional, for a stronger floral scent)
  • 4-6 drops vitamin E oil (optional, to help extend shelf life)

Instructions

  1. Add the dried rose petals and split vanilla bean to a clean glass jar.
  2. Pour the sweet almond oil and jojoba oil over the botanicals.
  3. Seal the jar and allow it to infuse in a cool, dark place for 2 to 3 weeks, shaking gently every day or two.
  4. Strain the oil through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a clean bowl.
  5. Stir in the rose essential oil and vitamin E oil, if using.
  6. Pour into a decorative glass bottle with a pump or dropper.
