Ingredients

  • 4 black tea bags
  • 2 ripe peaches sliced
  • 4 cups boiling water
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional: sugar honey, or simple syrup

Instructions

  1. Start by boiling 4 cups of water. Place the tea bags in the hot water and steep for 5 minutes. Remove the bags and let the tea cool slightly.
  2. Next, add the sliced peaches to the warm tea. You can mash some slices to release more flavor. Let the tea cool to room temperature, then put it in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
  3. When you’re ready to serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled peach tea over them. Stir gently to mix the flavors well. You can garnish with a peach slice or a sprig of mint.
