Lavender Jelly Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cup fresh lavender or 1/8 cup dried
  • 1 package powdered pectin
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Steep lavender in boiling water for 15–20 minutes; strain.
  2. Add sugar and lemon juice; bring to a boil.
  3. Add pectin and boil until thickened.
  4. Pour into jars (1/4" headspace).
  5. Process in water bath for 5 minutes.
  6. Yield: 4–5 half-pints
