Strawberry Mango Jam (for Canning)

Ingredients

  • 4 1/2 cups crushed strawberries and mangoes
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 5 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 box powdered pectin

Instructions

  1. Crush strawberries and mangoes in a large saucepan.
  2. Stir in lemon juice and pectin until combined.
  3. Bring to a full rolling boil over medium-high heat.
  4. Add sugar and return to a rolling boil.
  5. Boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  6. Remove from heat and skim foam.
  7. Ladle into sterilized jars, leaving 1/4 inch headspace.
  8. Wipe rims, apply lids, and process in water bath for 10 minutes.
  9. Cool completely and check seals.
