Lavender Lemonade Recipe

dried lavender flowers
or 1/3 cup fresh lavender flowers

fresh squeezed or bottled lemon juice

In a small saucepan, combine 2 cups of the water with the sugar and lavender.

Bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Remove from heat and let the mixture steep for about 10 minutes.

Strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove the lavender flowers.

In a large pitcher, combine the lavender mixture with the lemon juice and remaining 4 cups of water. Stir well.

Serve over ice and enjoy.
Notes

The color of your lavender lemonade will vary depending on the type of lavender used.

For a more vibrant color, add 1–2 drops of red and blue food coloring (optional).

For best flavor, use culinary lavender.
