114 oz bag coleslaw mix (shredded cabbage and carrots)
3tablespoonssoy sauceor tamari for gluten-free
1tablespoonrice vinegar
1tablespoonsriracha or chili pasteoptional
2green onionssliced
1teaspoontoasted sesame seedsoptional, for garnish
Instructions
Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the ground pork and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
Add the diced onion, garlic, and ginger. Sauté until fragrant and the onion is softened.
Stir in the coleslaw mix and cook until the cabbage begins to soften, about 5 minutes.
Add the soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sriracha, if using. Stir well to combine.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Top with sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds before serving.
Recipe Notes
You can easily substitute ground chicken, turkey, or beef for the pork. Use tamari in place of soy sauce for a gluten-free option. The sriracha is optional if you prefer a milder dish.
