Dandelion Syrup Recipe (for Canning)

Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 4 cups sugar
  • 3 cups dandelion flowers

Instructions

  1. Boil water and dandelion flowers; steep several hours or overnight.
  2. Strain liquid and discard flowers.
  3. Return liquid to pot and add sugar.
  4. Simmer until sugar dissolves.
  5. Pour into jars (1/2" headspace).
  6. Process 10 minutes in water bath (optional for long storage).
  7. Yield: 3 pints
