Cold Brew Tea

Ingredients

  • 8 cups cold water
  • 4 –6 tea bags black tea, green tea, or herbal tea
  • Ice for serving
  • Lemon slices mint, or fresh fruit for garnish
  • Honey or sugar to taste optional

Instructions

  1. Fill a large pitcher with cold water.
  2. Add the tea bags to the pitcher.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for 8–12 hours or overnight.
  4. Remove the tea bags and discard.
  5. Serve the tea over ice.
  6. Add lemon slices, mint, peaches, berries, or sweetener if desired.

Recipe Notes

Use more tea bags for a stronger flavor.
Cold brew tea has a smoother, less bitter flavor than traditional iced tea.
Black tea, green tea, herbal tea, and fruity tea blends all work well.
Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
