For years I have been toying around with the idea of making homemade pizza. It just seemed like too much work to me. Then I saw this article for making individual personal pan pizzas and decided to give it a try. They are so easy to make and taste great too.

One of the reasons I always resisted making homemade pizza was because I didn’t want to make the crust. With these individual pizzas, the crust is already made and your family can add whatever toppings they like. Easy!
All you need are some frozen dinner rolls (the kind you thaw out and bake when you need them), your favorite pizza or pasta sauce, and the toppings of your choice (pepperoni, olives, mushrooms, canadian bacon, pineapple, grated cheese). The frozen dinner rolls are really inexpensive too…only a couple of dollars for sixteen rolls.
A couple of hours before you are ready to prepare the pizzas, set out enough frozen rolls to make the number of pizzas you want to make. They will thaw out in an hour or two.
Flatten each roll with the palm of your hand and place them on a cookie sheet greased with olive oil. I found it worked best to prepare the pizzas one at a time. If you try to prepare all the crusts first, the dough will start to shrink up again as it sits. Once you get the toppings on they retain their shape better.
On each flattened roll, place a spoonful of pizza sauce and your favorite toppings. Your family can prepare their own pizzas if they like.
Bake the pizzas at 400 degrees for about 10 minutes or until lightly browned and cheese has melted.
I have made these several times now and our family loved them. The kids love making their own pizzas, and the pizza crust is great, the best I’ve ever tasted for homemade pizza. These pizzas would be great for a family movie night or kids’ sleepover too.
