How to Remove Carpet Impressions

Q: How do you remove carpet impressions from that were caused by the furniture that was sitting on it??

Tip #1: All you need to do is vacuum against the nap. If the fibers of the carpet are laying to the left, start on the right and pull the fibers up (assuming this is a ‘twist’ carpet).

For a continuous loop (usually wool) vacuum in all directions over the furniture mark, without the powerhead on your vacuum. If I knew what type of carpet it was I may be able to help more.

Tip #2: I have also heard that to remove carpet impressions you can melt an ice cube over the area, then vacuuming will help (ala Martha Stewart), I think is where I heard that. Good luck!!
